Valentines Day 2011-the Hoilday of Love

Happy Valentines Day to you and those you love!

What would Valentines Day be without lots of stuffed toys? The center island is full of these joyful little guys.

The table is set, I wonder what I should fix for dinner-I know chocolate will have to be in the desert at least.

Getting Ready for Next Christmas

Well the holidays are over, for now, but it is never to early to get ready for next November-December. So here are a half dozen new nutcrackers that I am in the process of painting for decorations. Can't waste time-only 341 days till Christmas (310 till we start to decorate).

More Snow

Therri in the snow.

TTToooo cold for a patio meal today.

The valley blanketed in snow.

Christmas lights look so nice in the snow.

It Never Rains in Southern California-No it Snows!

Mother Nature adds a White Christmas to our decorations-a week late, but who cares.

Jan. 2nd, after a cold but beautiful New Years in Canyon Country, it has been snowing for more than four hours. Over two inches so far! The most snow we have ever been in at any of our homes in Southern California in our lives.

Toy Soldiers on Celebration Detail

The office, soldiers and drummers of the 4th US Infantry Regiment, 1863, are ready for the Holidays.

I painted these four foot tall soldiers in the '90's.

Ready for Christmas Breakfast

The kitchen table is set for a light Christmas breakfast of my rum french toast, apple crisp, Scottish Breakfast Tea and orange juice.
